What is the research about?

The present qualitative research constitutes the second phase of a mixed-methods study. This study aims at identifying dysphagia screening practices used by nurses in residential care in the Republic of Ireland and the barriers and facilitators to nurses conducting dysphagia screening in this healthcare setting.

Time commitment:

Maximum of two online meetings per month, one to an hour and a half each.

Contact between meetings:

Review and feedback on recruitment material, consent forms and participant information leaflet. Review and feedback on data collection instruments. Promote the study and assist in the recruitment of participants for focus group interviews. Review and feedback on research findings.
