Cancer Patient Innovation

Are you a patient, carer or researcher with an interest in or experience of cancer? Are you up for tackling challenges in cancer research?

Join the Patient Voice in Cancer Research for a design thinking sprint facilitated by UCD Innovation Academy.

Over two half-day workshops, we will bring together patients, carers and researchers to work together in a novel, engaging and highly interactive way to tackle challenges in cancer research.

Participants will be divided into 6 teams of 6 people; each with a unique experience of cancer.

Teams will be set a challenge to work on over the course of two half-days on September 24 and October 08.

This event is inspired by the Patient Innovation, an online platform where patients and caregivers around the world connect to share the solutions they developed themselves or with the help of collaborators to cope with a health-related problem.
