Workshop: PPI and research ethics

Do you have experience as a PPI contributor in research? Inform our research into research ethics and PPI. Join the workshop on 22 Aug 2023.

The PPI Ignite Network is focusing on research ethics and public and patient involvement (PPI). This work is being led by the PPI Ignite Network @ UCD (Prof Thilo Kroll and Dr Emma Dorris) and the PPI Ignite Network @ RCSI (Dr Michelle Flood). There are PPI contributors as part of the working group, but we would like wider and more diverse input from individual PPI contributors at this workshop.

We are seeking people who have experience working in research as a PPI partner/PPI contributor to attend a workshop. We would like to hear your view on two specific topics:
- ethical practice of PPI
- a statement developed to help people understand is research ethics committee approval is required for PPI in research.

This workshop has been co-designed with the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
