The Multimorbidity Collaborative Doctoral Award (CDA) is drawing to a close, with this final meeting to share the results of research conducted by four PhD scholars. Their research focused on primary care for people living with two or more long-term conditions, who are often on many different medicines.

Funded by the Health Research Board, PPI was embedded in this PhD programme from the grant application stage, where input from a primary care PPI group led to redefining one of the research questions. The four PhD students from different backgrounds (psychology, health economics, general practice and pharmacy) set up a very active PPI group and worked together with the group throughout their PhD research.

People living with long-term conditions, their carers and others interested in finding out more about the work and impact of the PPI group on this research, the researchers, the research programme and the PPI group members are welcome to attend.
