Lora Ruth

Lora is a healthcare professional and a patient advocate. Lora Ruth established Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Ireland, a national patient and parent support and advocacy organisation for raising awareness and advancement of patients’ quality of life with Sickle Cell disease and Thalassaemia disease in Ireland. She is also the co-founder and managing coordinator of Migrant Health Alliance Ireland, an umbrella organization bringing together various community  groups, healthcare agencies, various charity organizations, healthcare professionals, and researchers to improve health access, equity, and health  promotion within the migrant communities.
