2022 Autumn DSSG Stakeholder Session – A PPI update from Cancer Trials Ireland (hybrid session, in-person* & virtual attendance possible). This meeting is open to CTI members and anyone interested in PPI in cancer trials and research.
The session will be facilitated by Cancer Trials Ireland’s CEO, Eibhlín Mulroe, who will introduce our recently appointed PPI Co-ordinator, Sarah McLoughlin, and some members of the CTI Patients Consultants Committee (PCC). The panel will outline the PCC’s intentions for the coming 12 months and beyond, including:
• Recruitment of further PCC members to DSSGs
• Patient experience of DSSG meetings & supporting cancer trials work
• Patient-led research project (Metastatic Breast Cancer)
*The in-person capacity for this meeting is 45-50 people. If you would like to attend in person, it is important that you register you interest in doing so by emailing info@cancertrials.ie. Places for this meeting, which is open to members and non-members of Cancer Trials Ireland, will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
