A group of PhD scholars from around Ireland came together to organise this series of events: for PhD scholars, by PhD scholars. These include, Marian Clarke, Éle Quinn, Johanna Pope, Paula Leocadio, Edel Burton, and Kathleen Hannon. The idea for the series of events originated at a brainstorming workshop to help plan the National PPI Festival. The Network's national office and local PPI Ignite Network offices are supporting the initiative where appropriate. The series is also being held in collaboration with the Shared Learning Group facilitated by UCC
