“Introduction to Engaged Research” workshop

Inspired by Campus Engage training materials, this workshop will explore engaged research principles and terminologies, as well as how to map stakeholders for engagement across a research life cycle. Activities will assist participants in identifying opportunities for integrating engaged research in their work.
This event includes presentations on concepts and exciting case studies from the Irish and African contexts. Confirmed speakers include Dr Manjula Manikandan from RCSI School of Physiotherapy, and Dr Shona Lee and Dr Jakub Gajewski from RCSI School of Public Health. The workshop is recommended for students and researchers new to the topic, who may be considering undertaking engaged research for the first time or are just starting a new project.
