How can researchers effectively involve people with lived experience in their science advocacy efforts?
This event, in collaboration with PPI Ignite Network @ University of Galway, brings together CÚRAM SFI Research Centre for Medical Devices and Institute for Lifecourse and Society (ILAS) researchers to meet and discuss how PPI (public and patient involvement in research) and other engaged research methodologies can enhance the impact potential of academic research, exploring the commonalities and differences across health and social sciences.
Participants of this event will have the opportunity to hear from a variety of expert perspectives on how to better advocate for their research, incorporating PPI to increase the potential for policy change.
