A new online course on Research Ethics for Patients and the Public, will launch on October 21st 2024. This information session will provide an overview of the course, and we can answer any questions from patients/public interested in applying for the course.
The 6-week course, co-designed by IPPOSI and HSE Research and Development, in collaboration with a number of academic and healthcare professionals as well as patient/public partners, is aimed specifically to empower patients and the public with knowledge and skills to actively participate in health research ethics processes, ensuring their voices are heard in the ethical decision-making that shapes the future of health and social care research in Ireland.
