More information can be found here: https://www.cochrane.org/about-us/news/hpv-vaccination-campaign-open-call-public-collaborator
Who?
We’re looking for parents or carers of a child between 9 to 14 years old, who haven’t yet received the HPV vaccine.
We welcome diverse perspectives, including those who are unsure, face access challenges, or experience other barriers.
Applicants must have reliable internet access and be comfortable communicating in English.
What is needed?
Participate in a collaborative discussion with the campaign development team.
Review and provide feedback on campaign materials (graphics, messaging, content), including, but not limited to:
Share insights on how messaging resonates with parents, carers or families of a child eligible for the HPV vaccine, and
Help ensure campaign content is empathetic, culturally sensitive, and action-oriented.
Where?
This is a fully remote, online collaboration, including:
Email correspondence for reviewing campaign materials.
Microsoft Teams meeting for discussion.
When?
We estimate a time commitment of approximately 2 hours of reviewing materials by email, plus an approximately 1-hour meeting with the campaign development team.
Why?
This is an opportunity to directly influence public health messaging and make a meaningful impact on helping to protect young people from preventable cancers.
Your insights are crucial to developing a campaign that:
Resonates authentically with families facing vaccination decisions.
Addresses real concerns and barriers to HPV vaccination.
Uses language and messaging that builds trust.

Should you wish, your name will be listed as a contributor to the campaign. Alternatively, if you prefer, your contribution will remain anonymous, and your name will not be publicly associated with the campaign.
