What is the research about?
The STAKEholder project aims to develop online learning resources about clinical guideline development for healthcare consumers and health professionals. The project aims to improve awareness and transparency around what clinical guidelines are and how they are developed in Ireland. It also aims to prepare healthcare consumers and healthcare professionals to be active guideline development group members. Two key deliverables of the project are an online learning course and a short video designed specifically for healthcare consumers.
We are looking to form a PPI panel, co-facilitated by our PPI co-applicant, who will help us build online learning resources on clinical guideline development process for patients and the public.

Time
Time commitment:
2-3 meetings on Zoom. Each meeting will be about 2 hours long where we will discuss panel members insights, experiences and thoughts on the proposed content.
Contact between meetings:
Some follow up emails and possibly phone calls in between the online meetings depending on members’ preference and availability. We will circulate the meeting documents prior to the meeting and the panel members will have a chance to review them.
