Dr Michelle Flood

Dr Michelle Flood is the RCSI Academic Lead on Public Patient Involvement in Research. Dr Flood developed the PPI in Preclinical Research strategy and the PPI team for the RCSI Tissue Engineering Research Center. She supervises a full time PhD scholar focused on PreClinical PPI. 

Dr Flood is a qualified Pharmacist specialising in human-centered design and traditional research methods can be combined to address complex/systemic issues in primary care and in health professions education. Dr Flood was awarded a Fulbright Scholar award (HRB/HealthImpact) to conduct research at the Design Institute for Health, Dell Medical School, University of Texas at Austin, where she remains a visiting researcher.
