PhD students learning together

The PPI Shared Learning Group for PhD students, coordinated by PPI Ignite Network @ UCC, meets online once per month and provides an informal opportunity for PhD students to keep up to date with the latest PPI research and best-practice approaches. It also provides a forum for members to discuss their own PPI plans and experiences, if they wish to do so. The group is open to PhD researchers of all stages. Facilitating PPI meetings

The PPI Facilitation Skills Shared Learning Group, coordinated by PPI Ignite Network @ University of Galway, meets online from 12:30-13:30 on the second Monday of each month. These meetings are an opportunity to learn from each other as attendees share their own experiences of attending and/or facilitating PPI meetings. The group is open to anyone who is interested in PPI Facilitation and no prior experience is required. Register to stay up to date on future Shared Learning Groups.

 Working with refugees and migrants

The Refugee and Migrant Shared Learning Group, coordinated by PPI Ignite Network @ UL, is run in conjunction with the ICPHR Refugee and Migrant Health group (Co-leads Prof Sonia Dias, University of Lisbon & Prof Anne MacFarlane, UL). The group meet bi-monthly for one hour on-line to share information and experience about participatory research with refugees and migrants. To join this group, email ppi-ignite@ul.ie

PPI with Children and Young People

The PPI Shared Learning Group on Children and Young People, coordinated by PPI Ignite Network @ DCU, meets for one hour on the last Thursday of every second month. The group aims to increase understanding and awareness of PPI in research with children and young people through presentation and discussion of best practice and examples.
