PPI Ignite Network Values and Principles Framework

This resource defines the values and principles underpinning the work of the PPI Ignite Network and proposed as the values and principles for PPI in research across Ireland.
Led by the PPI Ignite Network team at Trinity College Dublin, the PPI Ignite Network Values and Principles framework was developed through a series of collective intelligence workshops with researchers and PPI contributors and detailed work by the Network’s Quality Working Group. Consensus was reached on seven Values and for each Value, on a Principles statement, defining what the value looks like in action.
Launched as part of the first National PPI Festival in October 2022, the Network and all PPI practitioners are now tasked with embedding these values in our PPI practices.
