Resources for charities and community organisations active in PPI

Description:

As PPI grows so too do the requests to community based organisations to link researchers with the community that those organisations serve. This can cause additional pressure and can lead to undue burden on organisations and their staff or volunteers.

PPI Ignite Netowork @ UCD  worked with a range of charitable, community and voluntary based organisations with experience of PPI approaches from academic researchers. Together we co-created tools to make the initial approach or relationship building phase of PPI more sustainable for charities in practice. One of these tools is a template to help voluntary based organisations and researchers to develop shared expectations.
