John Gaffey

John Gaffey began his involvement with PPI as a PPI contributor to the Galway public advisory panel in 2018 where he shared his input into the early stages of PPI Ignite from his perspective as a young person. Over the following years John acted as a PPI champion advocating for rights-based inclusion in research both within the PPI Ignite Network and the UNESCO Child and Family Research Centre. He now joins us as a research assistant helping the PPI Ignite Network to deliver its goal of providing a shared voice in research across Ireland and change the established research culture.
