Prof. Hilary Moss

Prof Hilary Moss is a Professor of Music Therapy at University of Limerick. Prof Moss’ research predominantly focuses on interdisciplinary research programmes on music, music therapy and dementia and music in the management of chronic pain, with national and international collaborators from academia, clinical and community contexts. She  led an arts and health practice and research programme at Tallaght University Hospital, Dublin and has twenty five years experience as a musician, music therapist and arts-based researcher in healthcare contexts. She is currently editing a book led by PPI participants describing how music supports their health and wellbeing.
